The whisky is bottling cask strength without chill-filtration. This Single Malt is a sumptuous blend of tropical aromas (pineapple and banana) and citrus.The Glenlivet Nàdurra First Fill Selection was 100% matured in American White Oak casks that have never before been used to mature Scotch whisky, as you would expect with first fill casks they impart hints of creamy vanilla to this wonderfully rich single malt.Nose:Creamy sweet vanilla fudge, fresh pear, coconut, touch of oak spice.Taste:Big barley sugar candy sweetness, vanilla, zesty oranges and lemon, pineapple, a lovely light touch of oak spice hanging around the background.Finish:Refreshingly long. More vanilla and candied fruit, the oak spice comes more to the fore but is kept in check by the sweet candied fruit.
